Post-Workout Pasta Refuel

This pasta is your ultimate post-workout meal! With an ideal protein-carb combo, this healthy pasta will refuel your muscles and help them  grow and recover, ready to smash out your next training session!


Post-Workout Pasta Refuel 


Ingredients:

  • 1x 300g pack 3 Grain Organic Stoneground Fettuccine 
  • 1x 425g tin tuna, drained
  • 2 tbs extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 brown onion
  • 2 tbs pinenuts
  • 1 cup chopped broccolini
  • 1 cup chopped pumpkin
  • Note - you can add any extra veggies of your choice to this recipe - zucchini, tomato, eggplant etc

*Makes 3-4 serves pending your nutrition requirements (e.g. muscle mass etc)


Method:

  1. Cook pasta according to packet instructions. Once cooked, run under cold water, drain & place in bowl. 
  2. In a pan, heat 1 tbs of oil and cook veggies. Add in pine nuts & cook 1minute. 
  3. Add tinned tuna, cooked veggies & 1tbs olive oil into pasta bowl and mix to combine.
  4. Serve & enjoy.
