Post-Workout Pasta Refuel
This pasta is your ultimate post-workout meal! With an ideal protein-carb combo, this healthy pasta will refuel your muscles and help them grow and recover, ready to smash out your next training session!
Post-Workout Pasta Refuel
Ingredients:
- 1x 300g pack 3 Grain Organic Stoneground Fettuccine
- 1x 425g tin tuna, drained
- 2 tbs extra virgin olive oil
- 1 brown onion
- 2 tbs pinenuts
- 1 cup chopped broccolini
- 1 cup chopped pumpkin
- Note - you can add any extra veggies of your choice to this recipe - zucchini, tomato, eggplant etc
*Makes 3-4 serves pending your nutrition requirements (e.g. muscle mass etc)
Method:
- Cook pasta according to packet instructions. Once cooked, run under cold water, drain & place in bowl.
- In a pan, heat 1 tbs of oil and cook veggies. Add in pine nuts & cook 1minute.
- Add tinned tuna, cooked veggies & 1tbs olive oil into pasta bowl and mix to combine.
- Serve & enjoy.
